Desmos Masterclass Score Increase Guarantee — Terms & Conditions
Penguin Test Prep guarantees that eligible students who complete the Desmos Masterclass will improve their SAT Math score on their next qualifying practice exam. If the student’s Math score does not increase, the purchase price of the Desmos Masterclass will be refunded, subject to the terms below.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Score Increase Guarantee, the student must complete all of the following requirements:
1. Submit a verified starting score before beginning the Masterclass.
The student must complete the designated Score Increase Guarantee form and submit:
- Their starting SAT Math score.
- An image or screenshot clearly showing that score.
- The score must come from either:
- an official SAT administration, or
- a full-length official College Board Bluebook SAT practice exam.
The submitted score must be received before the student completes the Desmos Masterclass.
2. Complete the entire Desmos Masterclass.
The student must complete 100% of the required Masterclass content before taking the qualifying final practice exam.
Course completion will be verified using Penguin Test Prep’s learning platform. Simply purchasing or accessing the Masterclass does not satisfy this requirement.
3. Take a qualifying practice exam after completing the Masterclass.
After completing the entire Masterclass, the student must take their next full-length official College Board Bluebook SAT practice exam.
The exam must be completed after the Masterclass has been completed. Practice tests taken before course completion do not qualify as the final score for the guarantee.
4. Submit the final score for verification.
The student must submit:
- Their final SAT Math score.
- An image or screenshot clearly showing the score and the practice exam from which it came.
Penguin Test Prep must be able to reasonably verify both the starting and final scores.
To qualify for the Score Increase Guarantee, the student must complete all of the following requirements:
When a Refund Applies
If the student satisfies all eligibility requirements and the verified final SAT Math score is the same as or lower than the verified starting SAT Math score, the student is eligible for a full refund of the amount paid for the Desmos Masterclass.
Any increase in the student’s reported SAT Math score satisfies the Score Increase Guarantee.
The guarantee does not promise a specific number of points of improvement.
Additional Conditions
The guarantee applies only to the individual student for whom the Masterclass was purchased and may be claimed only once per purchase.
Submitted screenshots and score information must be authentic and unaltered. Penguin Test Prep may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify a claim. Altered, incomplete, misleading, or unverifiable documentation may make the claim ineligible.
The qualifying final exam must be taken without accessing answer explanations, answer keys, outside assistance, or other resources that would invalidate the score as a genuine measure of the student’s performance. Students may use any officially approved testing accommodations that they would normally receive on the SAT.
Refunds approved under the guarantee will be returned to the original payment method.
The Score Increase Guarantee applies only to the purchase price of the Desmos Masterclass and does not cover SAT registration fees, tutoring, other Penguin Test Prep products or services, or any other expenses.
How to Claim the Guarantee
To request a refund under the Score Increase Guarantee, submit the required final-score documentation through the designated Penguin Test Prep form.
Penguin Test Prep will review:
- the submitted starting score and documentation;
- completion of the full Desmos Masterclass;
- the submitted final practice-exam score and documentation; and
- compliance with these terms.
Once those requirements have been verified, an eligible refund will be issued to the original payment method.
